Treat yourself to a break! Not only because this is a legal necessity for an 8-hour working day, but because it relaxes you, promotes your ability to concentrate, and gives you energy for the rest of the day.

It is a mistake to believe that you can get more done if you work for eight hours without a break. Even short breaks can relieve stress and promote creativity.

It is up to you what you do in your break. Make it active, for example: Take a walk or use the TU Berlin's sports program, e.g. the active movement break “fit TU work.”

You yearn for relaxation? Then do a few relaxation exercises or take a 20-minute power nap in your office.
